donkey mates

i wasn't happy that lewis ate all the cakes.  but i am happy that pickwick the donkey has come to stay in the fluffy-hair house.  i met some of his donkey mates earlier today, as you can see.

they live down the road in a barn. they have invited me around for tea and straw cakes next week. i can't wait!

apparently it will be a birthday party (although i don't think we'll be playing 'pin the tail on the donkey').

This is all to welcome Pickwick the Donkey to the Fluffy-Hair House.  Hurrah!

Superhero goes Bananas!

So, while I have been off investigating yet another case (of missing bananas this time - thankfully found in the 'lost luggage' area of a cake shop) a crisis occurred in the Fluffy-Hair house...

Alan (master cake maker) got stuck when sneaking out of the cake shop! (I actually suspect he had something to do with the case of missing bananas, but I have no evidence to support this as he has no fingerprints, nor indeed does he have fingers!).

Anyway...  He telephoned Lime, as you can see.  To everyone's great surprise, Lime hopped up to the mark (bars) and saved the day!

It turns out that we are living with a superhero!  Wow!  Who would have thought it?  He may have some speech and language needs, but goodness, can he hop!

So Lime saved the day!  To celebrate, we all had banana cake (as I now have a case full of bananas that I need to use up before they go off).

What a talented household we are!
