The Kitchen Olympics
I think my aerodynamic figure helped me to win that one.
Nora seemed to enjoy the curling the best. She was actually quite good at it. Surprisingly along the way (or perhaps not), she found a couple of biscuits that she had hidden under the rug. Unfortunately, this made each game take a lot longer, as many nibbles were had in between delivering the stone and sweeping (not to be confused with a postman with a heavy parcel and a chimney cleaner).
The final race of the weekend was the bob sleigh. Again, Nora was slightly confused about the possibility of an unsightly and untimely death of someone called Bob. However, after the confusion abated, we had a great race! Some of the animals in the Fluffy Hair house came to cheer us along. Yes, even Zippy! He is not too well still, bless him, and spent most of the time shouting "George" and "Geoffrey."
But anyway. As you can imagine, we are now both very tired, so will be going to sleep early tonight. We hope you have enjoyed a glimpse of the Kitchen Olympics, and hope to have more teams competing in four years time.
So, good night
Love from Lewis (going for gold!) xx
PS Nora (going for gateaux) sends hugs too

anyway, lewis wanted me to show you this picture. although i'm not sure why because he doesn't spell his name like that.
i'm off now. lewis is trying to teach me yoga (not to be confused with our friend yoda) to help me and my big bottom.
lots of love

Fitter or Fatter?
Well, in my effort to keep fit, I decided to get some guidance. So Nora and I settled down to read some instructions of how to walk. Nora thought this was all a bit silly because, of course, we know how to walk. As you can see, she did not take much interest.
Anyway. I decided to take a walk on my own. As you know, I have rather a big bottom, so find it difficult to get the correct walking posture (it takes all my effort to hold it in). So I had to keep stopping for rests. But these were in some very beautiful places as you can see.
Here I am in the middle of a field! Luckily there were some sheep around, so they gave me a 'lift' to a church in the woods.
Here I am resting with God, nature and some dead humans.
When I got back to the Fluffy-Hair house, I was very disappointed to find Nora raiding the cupboards for sweets. Shocking! She excuses it by saying that no matter what happens she will not get any fatter or any thinner.

Normality
But now the snow has gone. So our days of playing and eating and being silly are over. We are back to normal in the Fluffy-Hair house. That means back to arguments over the chores, back to trying to eat less carrot cake (Nora) - but still coming across crumbs and denials of cake existence... but also back to blogging (sadly, not tobogganing).
As we have been so busy playing, we forgot to tell you about Christmas. As you can see, we had a good one. I got a new hat and Nora got some treats (sweets). There was peace and love abound (apart from sounds of Nora munching away).
But the holiday is over now. I shall be getting back to my detective work, and Nora has been developing her nursing skills by taking our temperatures in this cold weather.
We hope you all have a great New Year. My resolutions are:
- to eat something else other than bananas (possibly bread or pears)
- to get fitter (by popping to see the sheep a bit more often and possibly jogging around the garden)
- to develop my detective skills further (by possibly doing a qualification at the Gorilla College of Gorillas)
lots of love, Lewis xxx

squirrel toes and wining
its also time for ludicrusmas or something something with lots of chocolate, a baby, a gorilla, an unstable (animal? zippy?), some wise camels and sprouts. lewis said he would tell me more about it. at the moment, though, he is in the other room singing with sir richard cliff about squirrel toes and wine or something.
perhaps we should sit by the fire, like we did yesterday. lewis can tell me the story about the baby panda, whilst i eat a pie of mince (not the meat stuff because i am a vegetarian) and sip some yummy cream (yum yum)
yes, i think i'll go and find him...
see you soon! lots of love and sprouting cakes
love from nora xxx
