hello and thank you to all who voted for me.  the queen (someone from a place where a pig lives on a hill) has decreed (i don't know what that means, but lewis said i had to type it to sound official) that i am now pm (not the afternoon, but the prime minister) of the fluffy-hair house!

it has taken a while to sort out the curtains being hung, so i am now in a coalition (although we have wood on our fire) with lewis who is my deputy.  here we all are in the car, nipping off to bucking-bronco palace.

it took a lot of deal making and many phone calls were made to discus the what we should do for the common good.

we have decided that there will be a cleaning rota, but also a dedicated cake cupboard.

zippy is not part of the woodalition as all the excitement has led to even more strange behaviours.  

i think lewis will write soon, once he has done the washing up.

In the interests of fairness and democracy, I am letting Zippy have some blogspace to present to you his manifesto.  He has been given a day pass from his intensive therapy sessions (see below).  To be honest with you, I think it is the Monkey who is pulling all the strings because, as lovely as Zippy is, he has rather lost his grip on reality.  But in the words of someone with super sanity, "blessed are the cracked for they let in the light."

i have been told to let you know my jammybesto, manifesto, hammyresto or something something.  i don't really know what that means, but i am campaigning (mainly consisting of lazing in the kitchen) for jam and fun!  yes.  we all want to have sweets and cakes whenever we want to (but not after 9pm as it will rest on the hips).  we want to play whenever we want to.  

so a vote for me is a vote for tea (and jam and scones)!

Vote Gorilla for Goodness!

Yes, its that time of year.  Election fever has gripped the Fluffy-Hair house.  I only have a few moments to outline the Gorilla manifesto before heading out on my 24 hour quest to visit every room and cupboard of the house.  As you can see below, I have already been meeting with the public.  (This should not be confused with a public lavatory, because as we all know, the only good Tory is a Lavatory!)

The Pig That Is was very pleased to see kindness at the top of my manifesto pledges.  For as we all know, kindness is the key - not just to the sweet cupboard as Nora would have you believe -but to the goodness at the heart of all in the Fluffy-Hair house.

Talking with some of the constituents earlier made me realise the importance of order in the Fluffy-Hair house.  We all saw the chaos a few months ago when a strike occurred over the cleaning.  Therefore I propose a contractual cleaning arrangement - fair for all.  

All this would make for a happy house with order and sensibleness abound.

So, be very good, listen to the sensible voice of the group and VOTE GORILLA this Thursday!

monkey business

well, we've had a busy few weeks, with the fluffy-hair elections and all that going on.  i'm standing for the preservatives party (lots of jam and lots of fun) but more on that later...  the monkey has been off in the sun again.  he wanted me to show you this photo of him.  i said i would if he votes for me, so here it is.  must get off now for some jam on toast
